Episode 376: Mommy, They Don’t Like You, Part 2

This three-part series is from one of JJ’s walking videos on a cold and windy days, and we acknowledge upfront that the audio is not that great. If you are watching on YouTube, there appears to be a slight disconnect between the lips and audio at times. We do apologize, but we feel that the energy of the video can’t be duplicated in a more pristine environment. JJ is pretty raw in this video, and there’s minimal editing from the live broadcast that this was pulled from
However, we are sharing because you, too, might have trouble making friends when you move into a new town, especially if you’re in your late 40s and beyond
JJ continues her discussion about how hard it is to make friends and how SHE wasn’t a very good friend to those who cared for her. She talks about the blight of being a divorced minister and also a debt-free teacher who ended up with over $845,000 of debt
She also outlines a very controversial view regarding the role of being committed to one’s fitness in finding friends who will lift you up rather than tear you down.
Finally, there is a fair amount of religion and faith discussion (as is typical of the walking videos). We love and accept all people on our platform, so we hope you will receive JJ’s message with grace.
